A Whimsical Workshop: Design Your Very Own MONOPOLY GO! Token!

Tycoons, it’s time to unleash your creativity!
For the very first time in MONOPOLY GO! history, we’re handing over token design rights straight to you.

Tokens are one of the most iconic ways to show off your personality across the game board. Now you get to craft a fully original token from scratch, made uniquely yours!

Submit your spooky, Halloween-themed token designs between July 20 and July 28. Winning submissions will be turned into official in-game tokens and launched in upcoming game seasons.

Two creative tycoons will earn ultimate bragging rights: their original designs will become a permanent part of the MONOPOLY GO! universe forever!

Whether you sketch on paper, paint on canvas or create digital artwork, all creative formats are welcome. Your token can be quirky, elegant, mysterious, mischievous, eerie or totally unexpected — as long as it fits the spooky Halloween vibe and carries your personal flair.

Before You Submit

Hold on a moment! To keep this workshop fun, fair and safe for everyone, please make sure your entry complies with the official rules below:

• Eligible tycoons worldwide may participate, subject to Scopely’s Official Promotional Terms & Conditions.
• Participants must be 18 years of age or older to be selected as finalists or prize winners.
• You must be the original creator of your submitted design.
• AI-generated artwork or images heavily edited by artificial intelligence are strictly prohibited.
• Avoid designs containing recognizable third-party brands, characters, logos or any copyrighted material, so selected art can be properly adapted into in-game tokens.
• All token designs must be appropriate and suitable for all audiences, and abide by our Player Community Guidelines.
• Entries that violate these rules will be removed by our moderation team.
• Remember to include your in-game Tycoon Name when uploading your design submission.
• Official MONOPOLY GO! characters including Mr. Monopoly, Scotty and Banker Ben Basu may be incorporated into your token designs freely.
• Alongside the mandatory rules above, here are key tips to refine your token design:
• Your artwork needs to fit the standard dome size of official MONOPOLY GO! tokens — avoid overly tall or oversized shapes.
• Tokens must stand firmly on the standard circular MONOPOLY GO! base. Keep this structural requirement in mind during your design process.
• Keep your design simple, clean and easily identifiable; tiny intricate details will not render clearly within the game client.
• We highly recommend including both front and back views of your token to bring your creation to life. You will frequently see the reverse side when rolling dice on the board!
• Please note: If your design is chosen, minor artistic and technical adjustments may be made by our team to optimise the asset for MONOPOLY GO!, while staying faithful to your original creative vision.
• By submitting your artwork, you grant Scopely the license to display your design throughout the contest period, including during the community voting round. You also agree to abide by these rules alongside Scopely’s Promotional Terms & Conditions. Refer to our Privacy Policy for full details.

Next Stage: Curating the Top Designs

Once submissions close, the MONOPOLY GO! team will review all valid entries and shortlist 20 finalists based on creativity, originality and overall spooky aesthetic.
Our MONOPOLY GO! Community Team will reach out to all finalists via Discord after the submission window ends.

Then it’s up to you — our community!

From July 31 until 16:00 UTC on August 4, the 20 finalist designs will be showcased to the entire MONOPOLY GO! community.

Tycoons will vote for their two favourite token designs to decide which concepts will be recreated as polished official tokens inside MONOPOLY GO!
Voting will take place via an online form shared once voting opens on July 31. Only one vote is permitted per email address; duplicate or fraudulent votes will be disqualified.

After voting concludes, the two highest-voted eligible designs will be named Grand Prize Winners, with their art implemented as permanent official in-game tokens in future game seasons.
The MONOPOLY GO! team reserves the right to audit voting results and verify participant eligibility prior to confirming official winners.

Rewards

20 Finalists

Every shortlisted finalist will receive 400 Dice Rolls plus a 4-Star Sticker Pack, and their artwork will be featured publicly during the community voting event.

2 Grand Prize Winners

The two winning tycoons will have their designs developed into official permanent in-game tokens.

On top of the finalist rewards, Grand Prize Winners will receive an additional 600 Dice Rolls and a Swap Pack. Total rewards for winners consist of 1,000 Dice Rolls, one 4-Star Sticker Pack and one Swap Pack.

All prizes will be distributed once winners are formally confirmed after the contest concludes.
